ML-27/ML-14

Tower Solutions offers ML-27 and ML-14 portable towers as standard configuration lighting towers. An ML-27 carries a payload of 18 - 1,500 watt lights displaying 27,000 watts of lighting power, while the ML-14 carries 9 - 1,500 watt lights displaying 13,500 watts of lighting power. Special order lighting towers, custom designed by Tower Solutions engineers to meet customer specifications, are also available.

The ML-27 lighting tower, when deployed at the full tower height of 80 feet, will light the equivalent of 1 - 4 American football fields (100 yards (91.44 meters) long), depending on the quality of light desired. One of the most significant value-added benefits offered by our ML-27 lighting tower is the ability for groups of light fixtures to be aimed in several different patterns. Combining fixture adjustment with the ability to raise (or lower) our tower in 5 minutes or less, an optimum light-aiming configuration can be achieved quickly and easily.

Another significant value-added benefit from delivering high levels of illumination from 80 feet is that the light is predominately pointed downward. This effect produces daylight-quality light dispersion over a large area without blinding glare or light contamination, often not desirable for environmental reasons. This powerful and preferred feature is not offered by other light tower/mast systems.

The ML-14 is nearly identical to the ML-27, except that a smaller lighting array mounted on the top of the tower and lower power requirements. This array, consisting of nine-1,500 watt lights projecting 13,500 watts of lighting power, can be aimed in one direction only. At an 80 foot (24.38 meter) tower height, the ML-14 projection of 13,500 watts of light can effectively illuminate 1 - 2+ American football fields, depending on the desired quality of light.

Tower Solutions unique patented ability to raise (or lower) their tower in 5 minutes offers unique flexibility for lighting applications. Often several tower locations can be served by one unit, quickly re-deploying as needed. In areas where height is restricted below 80 feet (24.38 meters), our tower can easily meet them.
